This article details how the Global Warming movement as advanced by Al Gore will lead to carbon taxes and endless regulations of your life. It asks the question rather than tax us why not offer us economic incentives-ooohhh noooo we can't do that we won't make money off of it. Some economic experts have said the Global Warming Carbon Taxes will kill the middle class. They are introducing bills for it in Congresss.

Unredacted documents reveal prisoners tortured to death
Stephen C. Webster
Raw Story
Friday, Feb 13, 2009The American Civil Liberties Union has released previously classified excerpts of a government report on harsh interrogation techniques used in Iraq, Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay. These previously unreported pages detail repeated use of “abusive” behavior, even to the point of prisoner deaths.
The documents, obtained by the ACLU under a Freedom of Information Act request, contain a report by Vice Admiral Albert T. Church, who was tapped to conduct a comprehensive review of Defense Department interrogation operations. Church specifically calls out interrogations at Bagram Air base in Afghanistan as “clearly abusive, and clearly not in keeping with any approved interrogation policy or guidance.”
The two unredacted pages from the Church report may be found here.
The ACLU’s release comes on the same day as a major FOIA document dump by three other leading human rights groups: Documents which reveal the Pentagon ran secret prisons in Bagram and Iraq, that it cooperated with the CIA’s “ghost detention” program and that Defense personnel delayed a prisoner’s release to avoid bad press.
(Article continues below)
“In both cases, for example, [prisoners] were handcuffed to fixed objects above their heads in order to keep them awake,” reads the document. “Additionally, interrogations in both incidents involved the use of physical violence, including kicking, beating, and the use of “compliance blows” which involved striking the [prisoners] legs with the [interrogators] knees. In both cases, blunt force trauma to the legs was implicated in the deaths. In one case, a pulmonary embolism developed as a consequence of the blunt force trauma, and in the other case pre-existing coronary artery disease was complicated by the blunt force trauma.”
In a press release, the ACLU summarized the documents as detailing, “[An] investigation of two deaths at Bagram. Both detainees were determined to have been killed by pulmonary embolism caused as a result of standing chained in place, sleep depravation and dozens of beatings by guards and possibly interrogators. (Also reveals the use of torture at Gitmo and American-Afghani prisons in Kabul).
“[An] investigation into the homicide or involuntary manslaughter of detainee Dilar Dababa by U.S. forces in 2003 in Iraq.
“[An] investigation launched after allegations that an Iraqi prisoner was subjected to torture and abuse at ‘The Disco’ (located in the Special Operations Force Compound in Mosul Airfield, Mosul, Iraq). The abuse consisted of filling his jumpsuit with ice, then hosing him down and making him stand for long periods of time, sometimes in front of an air conditioner; forcing him to lay down and drink water until he gagged, vomited or choked, having his head banged against a hot steel plate while hooded and interrogated; being forced to do leg lifts with bags of ice placed on his ankles, and being kicked when he could not do more.
“[An] investigation of allegations of torture and abuse that took place in 2003 at Abu Ghraib.
“[And an] investigation that established probable cause to believe that U.S. forces committed homicide in 2003 when they participated in the binding of detainee Abed Mowhoush in a sleeping bag during an interrogation, causing him to die of asphyxiation.”
“A large portion of the torture, maiming, and murder of detainees occurred under authority issued under secret rules of engagement in the Pentagon,” wrote Scott Horton, a contributing editor with Harper’s magazine. “Much of this flowed through Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence Stephen Cambone, a figure who has so far evaded scrutiny in the torture scandal and now serves as vice president for strategy of QinetiQ North America, a subsidiary of the United Kingdom-based defense contractor QinetiQ. Even the Senate Armed Services Committee review fails to get to the bottom of Dr. Cambone, his interrogations ROEs for special operations units he controlled, and the death, disfigurement and torture of prisoners they handled. This is one of many reasons why a comprehensive investigation with subpoena power is urgently needed. But full airing of the internal investigations already conducted by the Department of Defense is an essential next step.”
The ACLU’s catalog of documents relating to torture under the Bush administration may be found here.

"WTF? So your theory is don't question authority? Whatever authority tells you is right? You right wingers make me PUKE! I want my kids teachers to tell my kids to question my beliefs! I WANT my kids to say 'why.' If I don't have a good reason for something then my kids SHOULD question it! If I tell my kids 'hate black people' 'slap your woman in the mouth if she gives you lip' 'pollute and litter when every where ever you want' jesus is coming back from the grave.' Guess what my kids SHOULD question that.
Your right wing putrid 'obey, obey, obey' is beyond revolting, you should all be kicked in the nuts...\"
Except, Gore isn't just saying question authority, he is saying your parents are wrong sometimes and sometimes you know more than they do, that's not just encouraging free thinking to question established beliefs, And he is not telling them to question something as obvious as racisim or violence to women he's telling them to question beliefs that are debated by the majority of the science community. Al Gore is the guy who says the debate on Global Warming is over, no more debate, sorry but I think I must have missed the first debate? I don't think Gore ever debated it, he wants kids to question their parents but no one is allowed to question him.

Real Unemployment Figures Double Those Reported By Labor Department
7.6% is actually over 15% - just 9% shy of figure at height of great depression
Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet.comFriday, February 6, 2009The national media frenzy about the U.S. unemployment rate shooting up to 7.6% doesn’t even do justice to the actual unemployment figure, which in reality stands at around 15 per cent, just 9 per cent shy of the unemployment total at the very height of the great depression.
Current methods of tallying unemployment figures do not even take into account workers who have stopped looking for work. If a worker becomes discouraged after being unable to find a job and stops looking, they disappear from the official record.
Actual unemployment figures are therefore 5 to 10 per cent higher than publicly stated by the Labor Department, meaning the real unemployment figures stands at roughly 15 per cent.
During the great depression, where unemployment figures were more accurately inclusive of the true unemployment rate, the figure for the years 1923-29 was 3.3 percent before accelerating to to 15.9 per cent in 1931 and peaking at 24.9 percent in 19
If the Labor Department were massaging the numbers to an even greater extent, which certainly isn’t beyond question in light of fragile economic confidence, the real unemployment figure could be anything up to 20 per cent, which is rapidly approaching a comparable rate to the very worst period of the great depression.
Judging by Canada’s unemployment numbers, the real U.S. figure could be up to double that announced, even before we take into account how jobless people looking for work are not counted.
Compared to the stated U.S. job losses of 600,000, Canada has lost 129,000 jobs in January. The population of the U.S. is around 300 million compared to 30 million in Canada. Therefore in comparison with the U.S., Canada should have only lost around 60,00 jobs. The figure of 129,000 means that Canada’s unemployment figures are over double what would have been expected. Either that or the U.S. figures are being artificially under-reported.
Newsweek’s Dan Gross explains the myth behind the unemployment figures in the video below.

I've read your reference - it does not give specifics. I'm voting you off the island - for lack of fair play. You can click on to my link and listen to the whole broadcast. I not hiding anything, I am trying to point out that some of our politicians are hiding a Globalist Agenda under things that sound resonable like Go Green and their selling it at our Schools to our children.

Since when did the media love Al Gore? They gave him the Nobel Prize for research which has been widely criticized by scientist around the planet. They had held a big Global Warming love in festival for him that was broadcast around the world. When some protesters crashed that party they were quickly given the hook.

Is Obama using 'Shock Doctrine Playbook?'
by read good books ingeorge washington's blog(click here for part 1).
google_ad_section_start wednesday, february 4, 2009is obama adopting the shock doctrine playbook?.
everyone knows that milton friedman advocated a kind of "disaster capitalism".. specifically, as explained in the shock doctrine, whenever a natural, economic, war-related, or other disaster strikes, the friedmanites pounce and use the opportunity to quickly impose a brand of economic policy which benefits the elite at the cost of everyone else (by increasing unemployment, pushing the cost of essential goods through the roof, and otherwise increasing poverty), while people are still in shock and before they can react.. of course, the bush administration also used the threat of catastrophe to ram through bad legislation.

Is Obama Adopting the Shock Doctrine Playbook?
Everyone knows that Milton Friedman advocated a kind of "disaster capitalism".
Specifically, as explained in the Shock Doctrine, whenever a natural, economic, war-related, or other disaster strikes, the Friedmanites pounce and use the opportunity to quickly impose a brand of economic policy which benefits the elite at the cost of everyone else (by increasing unemployment, pushing the cost of essential goods through the roof, and otherwise increasing poverty), while people are still in shock and before they can react.
Of course, the Bush administration also used the threat of catastrophe to ram through bad legislation. For example, Congressman Sherman says that Congress was warned by the Bush administration that martial law might have to be imposed if the original $700 billion bailout wasn't passed (see also this and this).
But its not just "conservatives" who play this game.
Obama said Wednesday the recession will turn into "a catastrophe" if the economic stimulus is not passed quickly:
"A failure to act, and act now, will turn crisis into a catastrophe and guarantee a longer recession, a less robust recovery, and a more uncertain future," he said. "That's why I feel such a sense of urgency . . . ."
And Obama's chief of staff - Rahm Emanuel - said recently:
Never let a serious crisis go to waste. What I mean by that is it's an opportunity to do things you couldn't do before.
That is classic shock doctrine: use crises - real or imagined - to ram through your pre-packaged agenda.
Whether that agenda is labelled "conservative" or "liberal", it is almost certain to benefit the powers-that-be, rather than the average American. For example, Obama's "bad bank" proposal will help the banks, but not the American citizen.
Note: If any of Obama's economic plans had a chance of succeeding, I would support them (not the use of the shock doctrine, but the economic plans themselves). However, his schemes will make matters worse, just as Bush's did. Unfortunately, mainstream economists simply do not understand either the cause or the solution to our economic crisis . By attempting to save the status quo, they are exacerbating the severity of the crisis.

Uh Bee, nooo- There were 3000 kids in this audience, the speech was given at the University of Maryland but to kids. The man told his twelve year old daughter to tape Al Gore at this speech if you go to the website article there are tapes of Gore telling the kids to question their parents beliefs the way his generation questioning their parents on civil rights and he said his parents couldn't answer the question but Al Gore assumes because his parents couldn't answer the question nobodies parents could, Glen Beck said his parants could have answered that question, so could mine. Then he told the kids there are some things you know that your parents don't know. He is saying to the best and the brightest twelve year olds that you know better than your parents. Go to the site I listed and listen to Beck's program. Listen to the kids cheer Al Gore when their told they know better than their parents. Guess what their telling kids in the public schools Bee, about what their parents don't know about Global Warming or World Government? And they are telling kids to report their parents for things like drinking, spanking and other things.

Thanks BTS.
This article was kind of a long read I should have cut it down but for those who don't have time there is one important point to remember. Al Gore built his whole Gobal warming/carbon tax the public program on the work of this scientist and then when the scientist completly changed his views at the end of his career Gore dismissed him as a senile old man and maintained the debate on Global Warming was over. Gore refuses to debate it and just resorts to name calling against opponants of Global warming. I am not sure when the real Al Gore debates were ever held on Global Warming?

BRAIinwashing Children To “Re-Educate” Their Parents For Green Dictatorship Prison Planet.comThursday, February 5, 2009
Kids being brainwashed into informing on their families, following pattern of totalitarian societies throughout history
Paul Joseph Watson
A massive program with its tentacles embedded into almost every corner of education and popular culture is underway to use the “green” agenda to brainwash children and turn them against their own parents, as the state moves towards the creation of a Stasi-style informant society using methods that have been repeated in every totalitarian state throughout history.
The controversy surrounding Al Gore’s comments during a speech at the University of Maryland Presidential Youth Inaugural Conference, during which he pitted children against their parents by telling them they “know more” about global warming, is merely the tip of the iceberg of a top-down movement that is mimicking a technique that dictatorships have practiced throughout history - the exploitation and brainwashing of children to turn them into Maoist, Stasi, Hitler Youth-style informants and enforcers against their own family and community.
Talking head Glenn Beck was spooked about the historical legacy that Gore is following in brainwashing kids to assume an adversarial position against their own parents in the interests of the state.
“I’m trying to think where else this has been done – Soviet Russia, Nazi, Germany, Mussolini’s Italy,” Beck said. “In fact, the Nazis took an extra step. Not only did they indoctrinate the kids and tell them you’re probably right, you know but your parents don’t; in fact, here’s the next step: Why don’t you tell us what your parents are telling you. Are we having the new Hitler youth? Is that what this is? The new Hitler youth? I’m sorry, that’s so politically incorrect – the new green guard. Man your station, 12-year-olds, your parents just don’t know.”
